Live in Vancouver proper? We were up there for a wedding a couple weekends ago. Beautiful, but the roads up there are f’d up - haven’t filled a pothole since 1988 and what’s with no turn lanes? Surprised by all the new money - UBC parking lot full of 20yo Chinese in new Mercedes. I saw more Flying Spurs and 458s up there than the entire rest of my life. And you have an incredible craft brew movement up there - kudos.

In Burnaby, a few blocks from the border with Vancouver. I usually just saw Vancouver because most people have never heard of Burnaby. Yeah the roads are quite something...having a low car sucked, when I had one. And no turn lanes is because of intense space management I think, since it's almost an island they build up and want the roads to be narrow. Once you're in the suburbs there's lots of turn lanes. And smooth roads. Yeah I get far too used to all the exotics...it has to be pretty out there to surprise me...spoiled. I'm so happy with all the craft beer! Every weekend you can go out to a tasting room or a bar that has tons of local craft beer. Too much of my income goes to beer as well as cars
